Tax Calender 2017/2018



1 October 2017
Due date for corporation tax due for the year ended 31 December 2016.

19/22 October 2017
PAYE, NIC, student loan and CIS deductions due for the month to 5 October 2017.  (If you pay your tax electronically the due date is 22 October 2017).

31 October 2017
Self Assessment paper tax returns for period end 5 April 2017 to be filed at HM Revenue & Customs.

1 November 2017
Due date for corporation tax due for the year ended 31 January 2017.

19/22 November 2017

19/22 January 2018
PAYE, NIC, student loan and CIS deductions due for the month to 5 January 2018.  (If you pay your tax electronically the due date is 22 January 2018).

31 January 2018
Self Assessment personal, partnership tax returns for period end 5 April 2017 to be filed at HM Revenue & Customs.
Self Assessment balancing payment due for 2016/2017
Self Assessment first payment on account due for 2017/2018

* Interest accrues on all late payments.
* Further penalty of 5% of tax due or £300, whichever is greater for self assessment personal tax returns still not filed for 2015/2016.
* Penalty of 5% surcharge on any outstanding tax 2015/2016 still unpaid.
* Penalty for late filing of self assessment personal tax return of £100 for 2016/2017.
* Penalty 5% surcharge on any outstanding tax due on 31 January 2018 still unpaid.
